Club Under Refurbishment

The function room is undergoing refurbishment for the coming season. With a new lighting system and sound system, new ceiling and air-conditioning being installed. Our kitchens are also undergoing a summer improvement and cleaning program ready for the new season

Planning permission has been submitted for a smoking area with a sheltered are with lighting and heating and a patio area to cope with our beautiful summer weather.

Pitch Improvements

Grants have been applied for from Groundsmatch to do drainage improvements on the pitches and it is hoped that we will get the go ahead in September. 

Player Registration

Player Registration will take place over the next few weeks. It is important that all players fill in a registration form as soon as possible. Forms are available behind the bar. Annual subs are also due now, cheques for £30 should be made payable to Leigh RUFC and given to a member of the committee.

Catering Improvment

This season will see a dramatic change in the catering at Leigh on Match Days. Instead of the traditional Pie, Chips and Peas we will see offerings such as Pasta Bake, Lancashire Hot Pot, and other culinary delights. Sue Ince and her team have promised to test our taste buds this season after testing her dishes over the last couple of months of last season. They will also introduce the improved catering on Sundays for the youth of the club.
